"God gives every bird his worm but he does not throw it into the nest." PD James

Have ya ever been really, really mad? All of us have. Here in the south we have a sayin’ – mad as a haint. It’s for when you’re really, really mad. This little fella looks like someone licked all the red off his candy. He was expectin’ a worm and no one has delivered. I think he looks mad as a haint – what do you think? Oh, by the way, for all ya’ll not from around here – “Haint” is a chiefly Southern word, its origin being the word “haunt”. In the South, it roughly means a ghost or other supernatural being. When you’re “Mad as a Haint” you’re mighty mad!

But the path of the just is as a shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18

After a restful and must needed vacation, I'm back to art! Here is a lovely commission piece newly painted.

"The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities." James Allen
Hi Ya'll! I'm finally back in my studio. Here is one of my latest angels - Lilly. She has lots of texture from scrapbook papers. Please visit my website for more artwork.
